Well all sounds 'normal' in good 'ol Africa..sun, sweat and bribery! Enjoy it while you're their Stevie, now you know how us Saffers feel getting into places ;-) At this point I am battling to imagine the sun and heat and snorkling - high of 8 degrees today! It's been bloody cold here and apparently only getting worse, so you picked a good year to disapear ;-) Finally, I have found a year contract job @ PwC. Start on Monday! Am really looking forward the challenge and being in one place for abit. Al is pumping blood & sweat into Knomo, so things are moving along well there. Love to you both and maybe we will get to chat on the phone when you get to SA ;-) Love, Me & Al

Hello from good old Woodlands! Love the photos and looks like you guys are having a great time. Lorna I'm sure you would much rather be working here at the Beeb instead of having to suffer through all that fun and exploration! Enjoy guys and keep the photos coming. Leanne x

Hello Ste no funnies from me today, Senior Brecon (a promotion course for Sgt) was being run out in Malawi from the end of Oct to Now (22 Nov). Well remember Big Ste Holloway, my best man and the lad you sat with at the Boxing night you come up for, well a Grenade went off and seriously injured him, he is in Intensive Care in Milpark Hospital Johannseburg, they don't think he will ever come home alive, I'm trying to get out there to see him (Army paying). I'm sorry to put a dampener on things but i had to let you know.
Take care Love Peter, Kerrie, Abigail & the boys

Just spent half an hour looking at the pics - looks fantastic. (Those Masai Warrior Skinny Men certainly can reach an impressive altitude!!) News in London is that the Christmas lights have been switched on by the obligatory z-list celebrities, marking the final furlong in the long race to a "disappointing christmas for the high street".
Jethro is flourishing and doing very, very well. We discovered gripe water the other day. I gave him some as he was drawing a breath between cries and the shock sent him straight to sleep. Get in there!.
Steve-o, sorry to see the scratch - can't wait to hear about how you saved the camp from a big nasty hungry lion.
Watch out for the dung beetles.
See you soon in the homeland. Love Mike (and fi and jethro in absentia) .
