In Vietman Totally failed to add any postcards in Thailand. Must have been having too much of a good time!! In Hanoi, total madness. Just crossing the road feels like taking your life into your hands. But very cool city. Got caught in the must unbelievable thunder storm yesterday. Sheltered in a bar over looking the Hanoi equivalent of Picadilly circus and witnessed the carnage as the waters rose and the traffic, including pedestrians took it all in their stride!! Found the local brew Bia Hoi costing around 8p and squatted on our plastic stools on the pavement with the locals and let it be the ruin of us. Off to the Presidential palace and Ho Chi Minh museum in the rain today. Booked to go to a place called Ha Long bay for a boat trip and some sea kayaking. Should be fun if this weather keeps up!!! Heading south in a few days To escape the rain for one and visit the DMZ and the tunnels. Only 3 weeks left..... Anne and Steve xxx
