Gascoyne Junction 27/5/15 We've decided to take a break from coastal towns, turning sharp right once again, this time heading for the bush. A great little outback spot, very new government built and operated roadhouse/ bar/restaurant and caravan park - wonderful amenities and newly grassed sights in the middle of nowhere. Denham 24/5/15 Driving to the Shark Bay region today, basing ourselves at Denham. We have struck an early start to the tourist season, mostly caravans everywhere and most parks booked ahead. We are camped in the overflow section which is fine, out of the hum drum!! Mostly fishing here but good for those who like to scuba dive and snorkel. Kalbarri 20/5/15 We decided it was time to move on North to some finer weather, destination Kalbarri. Our drive continued up the Indian Ocean Drive on the Coral Coast to the National Trust village of Greenough for lunch. The scenery was quite striking along the way with many enormous white sand dunes then flattening out to flood plains of the Greenough River. Green Head WA. 14/5/15 The weather is taking on its seasonal change in Perth and I think we will be just ahead of some bad storms by travelling North. We were up this way camping with the boys and quite liked this little coastal village. There are lots of sandunes close to our campsite, and loads of recreational fishermen and rock lobster fishing. Perth 12/5/15 Back to our Perth family briefly to celebrate Justin's birthday,catch up and check out the boys'progress at rugby training, restock and repack the camper before travelling north.
