Today is a fitting day to write our final entry (apologies for the delay) we are both now back at work so the fun has truly ended and we're moving on with the next chapter in our lives. Steve has had his hair cut off, no longer wears vests and is slowly returning to a pasty shade of white while Alison is spending most of her time with her nose in her parents fridge, making up for a year's absence.

First things first, you need the stats:

11 countries but only 7.5 capital cities (name them Donna)

96 hotels/hostels/paid accomodation

6 homes of friends and family

1 campervan

73 coaches, 21 aeroplanes, 19 boats, 12 trains and countless taxis, rickshaws etc

1 engagement

2 happy, lucky people!

It really was a tremedous year, it's impossible to name the highlights, there were so many it would be traitorous to the ones we didn't mention to single some out. Not only have we seen and done some amazing things we have met some really great people which is what ultimately made the trip. It already feels such a long time ago but we have wonderful memories that will pop into our heads from time to time and make us smile.
