This morning I was Lake Baikal. One of the most amazing sights I have seen. It was about 5am and everyone had been sleeping an hour. I was the last to go to bed, lucky enough. As the train pulled round past Irkutsk we were travelling pararell to the lake. The sun was coming up.

We docked at a station where loads of people were selling thingson the platform. This guy was selling fish from the lake. A proper fish. I had to get one. I bought a fish, which had been gutted already and I saw this lady put hers on the water boiler in the cabin, so i copied her. He kept turning it over, as did I. tehn she started to eat it, so I thought I would do the same. I knocked for Martina and Morten, and told them to have some. It was the most beautiful fish I have ever tasted! And I dont like fish!!!! But it was so fresh.

We ate it all apart from the head, so we decided to tie it on a piece of string to my cabin door, where the others were staying aswell. It was so funny. I had to make out that I left the door unlocked last night by accident and someone must have come in and put it there becasue we had pissed them off so much due to the noise.

When Jamie found it in the morning, I had to keep a straight face. He was worried becasue he thought someone had come into our cabin during the middle of the night and put it there. He said they could have done anything to us. Ill never forget the first words he said when he woke up which was "What the f*** is that?"

AS usual I got the blame becasue I left the door unlocked...he he..but I did it!!
