Well Vagas was...wait for it... Great! I loved the place and I can disspell the mith that its a nasty place. Like all overthe world there are no go areas but the main strip was superb. I was expecting pure Tack but it was not really that tacky. Its done so well that it doesn't look crap. It looks really good. There are so many themed hotels and casinos ranging from NewYork,NewYork to Paris to The Venitian and so on. We decided that after staying in some grim places in dodgy areas that we would splash out and book a nice hotel so we stayed at the Luxor Hotel for our first 2 nights. Its an Egyption themed hotel in the shape of a pyramid and was really impressive. The first night we hit the hotel Casino and played on the slots... I had heard that they gave you free drinks when you are putting money in the machines so we spent all night on the 1 cent ones and got really Pissed. It was a great night and I only spent about a pound.HaHa! We enjoyed the pool and topped up on the tans throughout the days. Unfortunately we could not afford the Luxor for our 6 days in vagas but we transfered to another not so bad hotel called CircusCircus...this was a bit tacky with Circus acts everyhour and a theme part in the hotel. It was quite good but full of kids. It was cheap too and cost less than a Travel Lodge in England. The strip came alive at night so we woke up late and stayed up late. We saw 2 shows. One at NewYork, NewYork called Zoomanity it was by Circus De Soleil and was really impressive and funny. It was all about sex. The next was Phantom of the opera at The Venition. The tickets were expensive but the show was fantastic they had spent 4 million on the set so you can imagine what it was like. We also took a hellicopter flight down through the bright lights and saw Vagas from the sky... This was great and so exciting. I was like a big kid. short and sweet but so worthwhile. Our time in Vagas was concluded with a visit to the Grand Canyon,one of the 7 wonders of the world. We took a small plane ride over and once again saw an arial view from above.It was very impressive even though it is just a massive rock formation. I was quite scared in the plane as it was really bumpy at times and i kept thinking of all the stories you hear of small aircrafts going down... We were ok as you have probably gathered because im here writing this..HaHa! Vagas was great and well needed after the other experiences over the past 2 weeks. Go you will love it ;) I should also mention that long haired Stephen no longer exists...Thats right...Its gone! It was doing my head in and was begining to get hard work. So its short but it looks good and after the near heart falier I like it;)
