Our trip from Hobart was pretty uneventfull. We dumped all our stuff in our room and set off to Bicheno and the wildlife park. We were greeted by the local press. "They can't be here to see us can they ?" said Jo, unfortunately not, they were here because the bush fires were getting close and they were worried about all the animals. The park was great. I finally managed to see a Tasmanian Devil, not just 1 but 13 of the litle devils !!! Jo got to hold a Wombat called Elsie, she was in her element. We spent the afternoon there, including watching feeding time. That night we went to the local pub and stuffed ourselves with beer and oysters - wonderfull !!!. The next day we had to pay the penalty for over endulgenace, a 12km hike over to Wineglass Bay (see the photo) 5 hours later and a packed lunch on the beach we returned to the car park feeling rather satisfied with our efforts. Tommorrow is just a liesurely drive down to Port Arthur, see you then !!
