24 hours after taking off from Heathrow, we are now in Sydney airport and dosing up on caffeine to try and help our bodies adjust to the time difference.

The flights were, thankfully, non-eventful. There was no upgrade, even though the nice lady at Heathrow put a note on our 'file' to say we were newlyweds & that it was my birthday. So we cattle classed it all the way, even though BA's World Traveller Class makes it sound a bit more glam.

The revelation of the flight, for Stef, was the moveable head rest that aided sleep without the noddy dog effect. Who needs a fully reclinable bed in 1st class when you can cup your head in an Economy seat?! We had a couple of hours sleep but it's probably not enough to get our bodies over the fact that we've lost a whole 12 hours somewhere over the Indian Ocean.

Next stop: Auckland.
