Dude I am jealous. It sounds like you are having the time of your life down under. Just so you know, I ponder all the cool s*** youre doing when I am alternately freezing and sweating my balls off in this f***ed up place that is Quantico. Keep in touch.

Steffen you lucky b******. I don't suppose you have a guest house where someone can come and stay for a month? I'll bring my tennis racquet and you can finally show me how to serve.
Nancy
Hahaha. I love the pictures of the animals kissing your face. Cute!

Okay, after many months, I have finally found your blog via Jen's blog. I know, I know, you gave it to me before, but I guess I lost it. I am glad you are having a blast in Australia. I am jealous that you get to go hiking every morning and watch the sunrise. Perhaps I am just jealous that you get to see water and changing landscape instead of just wheatfields. I am sure that you will learn how to surf like a pro in no time. Funny thing, one of my new friends in pharmacy school is just like you at sports. He is good at all the things that you play. Soccer, ping pong, basketball etc., but he is the Asian version of you. However, I still think you are the better one, perhaps the best. Hmm, you always mentioned the town, pub, and people yet you never took pictures of them. I would like to see what "Mr. Universe" or your pal, Henry, looks like, along with your cool buddies at the Hostel. Have a safe trip Steffen and keep on exploring and updating your blog to tell us how you are doing. We all miss our Steffen. One last thing, dude, what is up with using the metric system? It is hard for me to visualize how big things are, hahahhhaah.

Hi. Tim Hogan has been forwarding your notes and photos. We have enjoyed them, and Andrea saw some of the slide show for the first time today. She almost went on a cruise with my brother and sister-in-law from Kalamazoo to New Zealand, and Australia next month. I was trying to lobby to get your mom to be Andrea's roommate. Figured she would do anything just to see HER SON. Did not pan out, though. Michigan is plodding it's way through another not-so-spectacular college football season. After getting notoriety by losing to Appalachian State to start the season, Stanford has now saved my alma mater by beating USC last night in LA by 24-23 while being 41-point underdogs. Had a nice visit in Ann Arbor with your Dad and Mom, Sonja, and the Hogans. Dragged my folks and dog up there, too, so we had a pretty good reunion. Glad you are having such an interesting experience on the other side of the world. It may be hard to find a "real job" that keeps you as fascinated as you have been these past few months. Hope you continue to have a good time. You look and sound great.

Your pictures are awesome! You should photoshop yourself into the kangaroo picture so it looks like you are ridsing on its back. The whale ones are sweet too. I am jealous. Don't take one of a koala without me though, or else I will be upset!
Nancy
Dear Little Foot,
Your life sounds sweet.

Hey Steffen! I'm a little behind reading your posts, but glad to hear that you're having a wonderful time down under. Any luck on seeing platapuses...however you spell them? ^_^
Joanne
HEEEEYYYYY Steffen! Australia sound amazing and I'm ridiculously jealous that you get to do all the things you're doing. I'm watching the Friends episode where Ross buys leather pants and then he cant get it back on. I always think of you when that episode airs.
Much love, joanne.
Jen
wow, at first I thought Jack was just being a dork... but this website actually censors swearing out...
Jen
Holy s***, you finally updated. Your life sounds amazing.. haha, I'm pretty jealous of your adventuring right now. I have a Silver Chair cd that my sister burned for me and now that I think of it, she probably gave it to me shortly after she came back from Australia. Glad you're so excited about everything, but dude- you're still living in a hostel. If you find a lady friend, she's not going to want to bunk it with you and five of your roommates. Or maybe she will. I guess you've been pretty lucky so far. Try not to step on any jelly fish.
Jack
Hey Steffen,
Sounds like you're having a great time. I just turned in the trailside keys after an epic last minute cleaning spree which you ducked out of (a******). Seriously, I wish you all the best down there.
