Reiner is my mom's godmother's son. He grew up in Germany with my mom, then moved to Africa to work in forestry/conservation. During a visit to Australia in 1998, he bought this beautiful property on the spot and moved there with his then wife. Sometime in-between he lived for two years in Thailand.
