Farooq
I went there this weekend in the evienng. The number of cars still parked and the number of people walking back suggests to me that the council have no idea how many people want to enjoy this walk and I would say there was absolutely no way they could provide a suitably large parking area in a predominantly residential area. I saw little evidence of rubbish and far less discarded shoes than the last time I did this walk. What I did see was a lot of people with small children and some adults with a degree of walking difficulty. If they do put up this barrier it will prevent a lot of people using the walk due to the long way to get to the start, and it will include a steep hill. Not entirely sure how the half of Nerja who went there instead of the beach will fit when there is no choice of river or sea
