good morning
we were at Oadby yesterday and Lian got a text from you saying you were in Chiang Mai. John tried to write you a message on Lian's ipad, but got frustrated and gave up. He sends his love anyway. He bought a meal for your mum, Anis and me at the library and I had a walk along the crescent and looked in charity shops but did not buy aniting. IF you are still in Chiang mAI , IT IS WORTH GOING UP .Doi Suthep which is a big Buddha on top of a hill...great views. Hope you enjoy it there.
hardly saw Supang unfortunately...she and Lian were fling when we got there and then she went shopping to buy a valentine gift for Will and Sofia and Sam were coming round to cook chicken jerk and your mum is well and happy though her laptop has a virus at the moment.
have fun

Hello Sarah - just read your blog for the first time. Your travels sound amazing. It's wonderful that you made 3 great friends to travel around with. Being able to share all that is new with others is the best thing in the world. It's grey and dark this afternoon as I look out of my office windown. And I like to think of you in the sunshne somewhere!

ox? I think I must be drunk and it is only 6 in the morning...I meant to write Oz of course
Michael
really exciting to read of your adventures and your views on the various places...you could write a travel book when you get back called "Sarah's interesting time" !!!
I am looking forward to seeing the pictures...I am sure that at some stage you will face book some of them.
I had a message on face book from your mum...about one of Peter's friends...we will be in Oadby on Satuday...not quite as exciting walking down the crescent looking at charity shops as it is tubing down the river amid all the drunken bloodied bodies...imagine the old folk of Oadby swinging from the trees?
taking care. i am glad you are playing it safe. This part of your journey must be nearly over and you will be flying off to Ox...right?
have fun

Hi Michael,
Yeah, I didn't manage to write anything about the killing fields. It's so hard to keep everything up to date. But I've written about it in my personal journal which you can read when I'm back if you like. But it was very moving, there were remains of clothes still there and blood stains. It was all pretty emotional and a few of the group had to leave.
I've taken so many pictures and I've just tried to upload to Facebook, but it doesn't seem to be working!
Hope all is good.
