Hi there chicks, We're back from the Maldives, therefore relaxed and quite brown.....that won't last so I must make the most of it before it flakes off - NICE!! We're off to see Little Britain live next week, which is about as exciting as it gets over here, but I have heard it's fab. Well it's Friday - thank Crunchie and it's a Bank Holiday - yippeeeeeeeeeeeee. Which means one thing...RAIN.. Boo hoo. Not very happy about your nasty camper - poor old Monty is so much better. Tell that nasty van of yours to move baby move. Like the photos of NZ, it looks like a fantastic place. Can't believe you're back so soon, but kinda secretly pleased so we can see you soon (sorry). Hey everyone

Well our glam life of backpacking has come to an extreme halt. You may remember that we had to replace the thermostat and water pump back in Akaroa a few weeks back. Well now have replaced head gasket (not the expensive bit so far just that thin sheet thing for all you mechanics back home - like my accurate description!), need to replace the thermostat again as the wax has melted and the alternator - oh and probably the fan belt. Our home at the moment is a Mobil Garage! We just love the view of the car ramp, spare tyres and petrol pumps. Ga is somewhat very pissed off, but Im' happy coz today I snuck into a campsite and had my first shower for 5 days! Yes we smell and look great!! Fingers crossed (although that hasn't worked so far) we will be on the move tomorrow, depends how much I can crack that whip on Ga - feel a bit sorry for him really! We will never complain about good old VW Monty again, he is an angel compared to this piece of crap we've got here! Maybe I shouldn't slag him off, he might keep on misbehaving.

Well this time in 8 weeks we will be jumping on a plane back to good old blighty. I'm sure that piece of news will grind your lives to a halt whilst you start organising welcome back parties and pressies. Well don't let us get in the way too much guys, we know other people have responsibilities!!

Cunners & Caine - have a wicked time in potato pie land, you will love it. Cunners, we know you don't need any encouragement but Caine you MUST try the buckets!! Ars it goin! By the way Ali, we quit fruit picking cause its was a micky mouse operation not cause it was boring. If your in to siave labour, unreliable farmers and getting paid half a shilin it might have be ok. But for us 'COMPUTA SES KNOW !'.

Hey Y'all

Arrived in NZ Saturday afternoon. After a throrough bag check, didge confiscated, tent nearly confiscated, arrived at our hostel called cokers. Met our room mates - 3 guys from Dublin called Paul, Killian and Eoin and had a few drinks at the hostel bar, then had a party pill each - all herbal apparently - and then went down to the Vic & Whale for 2 for 1 drinks for 2 hours - good start. Ended up in Holy Grail where we danced, drank and danced. Stopped off for a KFC on the way home then fell into a coma till 2 the next day. Ali was sick, then more sick, then more sick until about bedtime! Everyone else felt ok. Just looking at buying a camper van now and planning our trip.

have not been online since we got to the house and only just seen the pics beard really suits you. i must admit i have been growing my trouser beard especially for your return let the eating competition resume. monty is doing fine just about to dig my van out of the barn ready for silly season as that is the only toy i have now (sold bike) boo hoo!!

I have just come back from france snowboarding which was superb (except fell into a blocked sewer up to my knees on a night out with the lads then got thrown out of a taxi cos one of them let one go it stank had to walk about 1.5 miles back to our hotel through the french alps still covered in sewer juice) then got back to the room to find one of the lads had thrown up in the others suit case what a night.
we are all missing you loads but are really glad you are having a superb time and meeting some great friends

Soooo bored at work. Was not supposed to be working today then got a call after 9am asking if I was available. Need money so of course I was. Working half hour out of sydney on, surprisingly again, reception! And as usual nothing to do but answer phones! BORING!

Thought this message board has been getting a bit quiet recently, tend to use email more so am making the effort to get it rolling again.

Put new photos on last week so have a look and let us know what you think - particuarly if you're fond of any of Ga's beard hair styles.

Not much to report but TFI friday. Not long left in Oz now, less than 3 weeks, then it's on to the next adventure, NZ.

Ga is going up to Darwin 21st March for a week to see friends he met working there (or to get away from me...), so I shall be all on me tod - apart from 5 other housemates.

We should be meeting up with Ben Cowley tomorrow night for a few sherberts, other than that no plans for the weekend.
