Arrived here last night and yep correct we went out on the beers! Staying in the Koala resort, and then Saturday we're off on our sailing trip round the Whitsundays. Was really excited but they have now forecasted storms and it is a bit rainy! Not so great...will let you know if we survive!

Well, we stopped here for one reason so that monkey and crimbo could do a dive on a ship wreck. That was lucky coz that's the only thing you can do in Ayr. Hostel was the worst we've encountered so far so we took refuge in the cinema watching Harry Potter and then went to the bowling alley and then swiftly left!!

Townsville ok. Stayed there 1 night - no air con in the dorm room, nearly died!! Went out for many beers, met an interesting lady we named boisterous beryl and then got on the car ferry with the great car Gloria and went off to Magnetic Island.

Urm what can we say about Mission Beach, stayed there one night and that was too long!! Quite a nice beach - but you can't swim in it coz of the jellyfish..that was it. Oh and lots of toads and frogs everywhere!

Cairns is a pretty cool place, alot more set up for tourists than darwin was. Been to the lagoon, done a bit of shopping, worked in the hostel and did our first scuba dive on the great barrier reef. Pretty cool.
