Decided to head straight for Queenstown instead of going up to Milford Sounds - were a bit nervous about whether Marley was fixed. So got to Queenstown yesterday. It's the extreme sport/adventure capital of NZ. It's been raining non stop since we arrived so can't do most activities!! Were only planning to spend 4 days here but will be longer if the sun doesn't come out soon! It's also bloody freezing!! Definately the coldest we've been since the last winter we spent at home. Went to bed last night in jeans, tshirt, jumper and big fleece over the top, then got in sleeping bag and covered with a duvet!! Oh and not helping that the heaters in the van aren't working...but at least he's running!
