Once in a while the travel gods smile and a destination all comes together. This was Lagos for me. The Hostel (the Cold Coast Hostel) was great, new and spacious run but some very passionate people and the people staying there were also great. I had originally planned to stay only two nights in the seaside town of Lagos but as it evolved I ended up staying four. On three of those four nights I ended going out until near dawn which I have since found out is pretty much a cultural norm for the Portugese and Spanish. Basically it was four fun packed days.

Sitting in Sevilla writing this blog entry I am missing Lagos and the fantastic few days there with the odd crew who I became friends with Tom and Adam the hard partying Polish guys, the two Polish girls from Chicago, Los Locos Anglo-Chilieanas, Kat the Maltese-Australia who was learning to play the harmonic and last but not least Brian the man who made the hostel such a great place. I guess a special mention also has to go to Whyte's bar for being a great place to start the night........I miss you all!
