Several movies and a few hours sleep later, we land at Bangkok International airport. Children initially disappointed at how familiar and "un-foreign" it all looks, and baffled as to why most of the signs are in English! Family priority (again!) through customs, and straight out, with Nothing to Declare! Then the first (of many I predict) point / smile / and hope for the best type conversations, trying to locate ticket office for bus to Pattaya, and purchasing ...

Left Toddington just after 6pm, and arrived at Heathrow in plenty of time to drop off the hire car and get to Departures. Excited children spent their pocket money (thanks to Loretta & Kevin!) on books and drinks, and we were soon boarding the plane, with priority passes due to traveling as a family. Row 44, central isle, with "a TV each!!!" much to the delight of the kids! Surprisingly tasty lime & coconut chicken for tea.

I suppose I might as well pack away the record player now !
