Saturday 17th Nov Moving onto Wanaka, but first we stopped by to catch the mirror reflection of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps on Lake Matheson, near the town of Fox Glacier. Friday 16th Nov It is Glacier Climbing time! We were very tired after late night, last night. We met up with our group outside at the hostel and walked to the Glacier Centre. Luckily for us, they provides gloves, hats, overtrouser and raincoat. It was really fun and enjoyable to do it, much better than our hike in Torgariro Crossing! Thursday 15th Nov A short drive from the hotel to visit Bushman's Centre in Pukekura. This Centre show how people make a living on the coast with sphagnum moss growing, old timber-milling techinques, possum trapping and helicopter Deer recovery. Wednesday 14th Nov A short drive from the hostel to visit Cape Foulwind and Tauranga Bay where we saw the largest Seal Colony in New zealand. We walked along the bay and saw the few seals from the distance. It took us a good hour to get to the other side where the Kiwi Ex Coach was waiting for us. It was also a pit stop for snacks.
