Second leg of flight from U.K. Went quick, all 10 hrs of it. Such a special time coming through that arrival,door with Becky and Rob waiting for us. Managed to stay awake yesterday other than 30 min nap which has worked well as slept whole night through. Awake to blue skies to a quiet household. Rob mum and dad sleeping and Bec, Rob and Tom camping down in the lounge.  

Setting off on 27Th December arriving in Singapore on 28Th, then next flight 2hrs 40 later onto Christchurch. Recommend airline, very attentive service. Food good, tasty, son enjoyed vegetarian choices we ordered prior to flying. Took 3 hrs to,get into,flight and settled. Up after that for myself them flights went quick really. Today we visited 2 of the museums with the third being closed. They are sign posted on walls in Fira but best to get an idea of where they are on Google Maps first or other map. We found it amazing looking at the pottery, ceramics, marble statues and figurines which had been found at Ancient Thira and Akrotiri. The museum which holds the frescoes was a highlight too. After seeing majority of island yesterday we planned to walk from Fira to Oia. We drove there first parking the car and walked through the very quiet streets to,find the bus stop. How I wish we had savoured this moment!!! You'll see why in a moment though I am sure you can guess!
