The whole pond is seined and herded into a boom net. The net "grades" the fish (lets the small ones swim out) and then the large ones are herded into the cage with the PVC pipe. They are then loaded on the truck in live wells and hauled to a staging pond where the wholesaler reloads them and distributes to grocers in Houston area for live resale.
