Arrived in Don Det after a day in Pakse, which although a nice enough town is basically just a travel hub. Luang Prabang is cool! The bars and restuarants here lure you in with twinkling fairy lights, rather than the neon glare of Vang Vieng. Just spent three days at Rivertime Resort and Eco-lodge, near Vientiane - it's one of the most beautiful, chilled out places I've ever seen.
