Hello!

Tomorrow we are leaving for a New Zealand, but we have had an enjoyable time in Australia!!

Well, for the most part anyway.... On our way to drop of the Campervan in Sydney we were hit by another car who drove into the back of us! The police had to come out and as a consequence we didnt get back to our hotel in Kings Cross until after 7pm. It also caused a lot of paper work, something we didnt want as it was Olivia's birthday the following day! On the 8th Simon was very generous and treated Olivia to a show at the Sydney Opera House called La Soiree. This show was a sort of variety performance consisting of acrobats, contortionists, magicians and comedians. It was hilarious! The whole day was very special!

The weather here has been very tempremental. One minute it is glorious sunshine and the next a cold thunderstorm will roll in. We have spent most of time here dodging showers and exporing the city. We have had several lovely picnics in the botanical gardens behind the opera house in the company of numerous parrots and huge fruit bats, and two seperate weddings! We have also walked across the harbour bridge today on a beautiful sunny afternoon. It is quite a view!

Sydney has been a lively and interesting city and we have had a really great time in Australia!
