Have had a nice, relaxing time in Darwin, enjoying tropical weather and scenery. Tried some local delicacies at the Mendil Beach Market's first night of the season - camel meat and crocodile meat kebabs and a delicious possum sausage! Having already eaten some croc, we decided to watch them being fed to make sure they're organic! Spent an hour on the Adelaide River seeing snapping crocodiles close up. Later, we swam in what we hoped was a croc free zone, by a beautiful waterfall in Litchfield National Park. Saw some impressively huge 'Cathedral' and 'Magnetic' termite mounds before returning to Darwin. Off to Indonesia this evening.
