Good to hear from you, great pics & glad ur enjoying yourselves!
History not a strong point then..?! Wasn't the bridge over the river kwai built by Commonwealth, Dutch & American PoWs - not Japanese? I haven't been, but I know David Niven was a Brit in the movie!!
Look forward to seeing those pics. Take Care xx

How very British of you complaining about the rain. I know you are still on the `holiday fortnight` and I suppose you are not missing too many home conforts just yet, but hearing about you trying the local food just conjers up an image of Kim stroking an Asda Pizza, making strange noises at the mention of ribs and discovering how much she now likes cheese. They say your tatste buds change as you age. An icky tummy is par for the course I suppose, but spare a thought for us here as winter nights are drawing in and we sit alone at night talking to hamsters. Or is that just me? This blog is a fantastic idea and you can say so much more than on a postcard. Love to you both x x x x x x

Glad to be home but wish I could do the next few months getting better with you on your trip. I am sure that it would sort me outgood and proper.
Simom,
look after Kim for me as you know I think a lot of her.
Kim,
