WOW! The Inca Trail was quite something! Although we didn't do the traditional route we still got to do a fabulous trek around the sacred valley on original Inca routes. It was really tough going, especially on the third day when we had to climb up to 4800m! We were all breathing poorly and had headaches by the time we got to the top. Here we are on the edge of Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake! The first thing I noticed was how big it was...I don't know why I was suprised since its such a big feature on maps!
