Bad news though........you're flight's been cancelled and you're having to come back by boat! Congratulation on almost making it there...only a few more hours to go. I trust you'll be sleeping in the back of your parents car in HK so to keep in the spirit of the past few months!!! All the very best and look forward to seeing you soon.

I suppose it's not the done thing to go around asking "How much is that doggy in the window?".... Stick to the vegetarian menu and you should be OK. I'm afraid it's going to be boring old cow, pig, sheep and chicken when you get home!

Looks like you're having an amazing time still. Look forward to catching up with you when you get home shortly. Vicky et al!

Wow AListair - deserts one week and snow the next!!! It all looks fantastic! It's great to see all the pictures - there need to be more of you in the places though! Hope you're still having a great time on your travels.... and if you're reading this Carol, hope you're having a great time too - enjoy New Zealand! We'll speak to you soon. Alistair.....to fill you in from Vicky's email - Watford won the playoffs (Ian's very disappointed - it was them or Leeds!)
Take care,
Love Hilary & Ian

You're looking browner than me....I'm red dust coloured. Still, I expect the rain in NZ will finally wash it off. Glad you're having fun. XXX

Hi Alistair!! As I promised, less than an hour after the group left Bishkek I'm in an internet cafe enjoying your webpage. I must see it's been a bit difficult because your photos bring back so many good moments I feel very sad. In any case, you have an eye for the photos and some of them are really good and capture the atmosphere, the feeling and the spirit of the places and the people we met. Good job! I' ll write you again as soon as I get home. Take care, enjoy your adventure and keep in touch!!
Un abrazo

Hi Alistair - Richard forgot to mention a couple of really important pieces of news for you........
1. First and foremost Watford are in the play off finals for the Premiership on Sunday (thought you'd like to know!)
2. Louisa had a baby girl called Isabelle Marie at the beginning of April. All doing well
3. Helen had a baby boy via emergency Ceasarean on Tuesday 16th May. Mum and baby Luke doing fine although not the birth they had in mind.
Hope you are having an amazing time Alistair.........I am so jealous, have checked your postcards and you are having a once in a lifetime experience - enjoy!
