hello, long time no hear i know. almost did a journal entry the other day but pc crashed- so frustrating!! im in yangshuo right now. its a backpacker hang out in south eastern china guanxi province. kind of a village thats expanded for tourists, sourrounded by rivers and limestone karst peaks which is stunning. its been so much fun and met lots of cool people, which ive been cycling, rafting, swimming and mud bathing in underground caves with for the last few days!! very chilled (tho boiling) and lots to do which is nice. loads of good western restaurants and bars which makes for a nice change. yesterday we got some rubber rings and floated down river watching the sun set and drinking beer. twas lovely till we stopped and tried to find our way back to yangshuo thru some random villages and farmland, made more exciting by the onset of darkness and the huge thunderstorm!! something my mother would be mad at me for doing im sure. the day before we went to nearby watercaves for an underground tour which includes a cold mud bath udner a mountain, bizzare. then a stalagtite waterfall shower to wash off!! perhaps today ill do something a bit tamer.... next i go to yunnan province, by train tomorrow morning. only 2 weeks left in china which is good and bad. it does feel like the right time to head onwards to another country. less than 2 months till i get home which is nice take care everyone, miss u all
