Greetings from LA - Los Angeles, not Little 'Ampton! My trip around the National Parks finshed yesterday - had an amazing time with some really nice people - every place we went to was amazing - incredible landscapes, fantastic campgrounds including one on a cliff top overlooking Monument Valley, went horse-riding (i know me on a horse is probably really funny seeing as i have a fear of large animals but hey, quit laughing!) on Boulder Mountain, did some knackering hikes with great views - all i can say is wow! Trip rounded off with a day in Vegas - coincidentally my brthday! So i spent my 35th flying over the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam with my trip mates to Vegas then did all the rides on Stratosphere, lost some money on beer and gambling (as you do!) and had a cool night. Hostel i'm staying in is right near Santa Monica beach and is really nice. Off to San Diego tomorrow...until then adios!
