Just a quick hello from sunny NZ. Will go back and fill in what I got up to in Australia when I have a little more time (travelling is quite hectic you know!?!) and post some of the comedy photos from Sydney too.
So far have travelled from Christchurch via Lake Tekapo to Queenstown. I've met up with a Swiss friend, Eszter who I met whilst travelling through Vietnam, and we're journeying in style.... well if you call a clapped out old campervan sprayed with ZZ top on one side and a skull on the other "in style". We didn't really consider the problem with not being able to wash much either. Hmmm! Have had an interesting few days so far, if a little whiffy. Managed to get in a few mountain strolls and will get to go to Doubtful Sound on a sea-kayaking trip at the weekend. Hurrah! Apart from that easing slowly back into the 'travelling' part of this year off - definitely a difference from my two crazy months in Sydney...
