Well you can probably guess by now that we have left Maui behind us and have moved onto the mainland. No all feat to here here, just 3 flights and 16 hours of travel but again we have not been let down. I think that Heidi and I will take credit for the US government re opening because they knew there would be hell to pay from HBA if she missed out on anything Kennedy. The city here is architecturally amazing, no doubt inspired by Europe but most definitely done in a very US way, that being BIG! Just the hop on hop off bus today but now we know where everything is, this service is a great invention. Tomorrow though is more jam packed with Capitol Hill and I think Arlington cemetery as well as other central monuments so that Sunday can be left for the Smithsonian.
