He says: Our ship (The Princess Nursing Home of the Seas) docked in Broome this morning. This small town is home to 15,000 and reminds me of PEI. It's got red sand beaches and really beautiful blue water. We're going to check out Cable Beach today before getting on our way to the Kimberly Coast.
I don't have much time to write a really long post, so this is just a minor update.
She says: There are literally NO traffic lights here, and although there is not much traffic, pedestrians yield to cars. It's really weird.
The side of the city we came in on does look exactly like PEI, but with turquoise waters. Cable Beach is on the other side and apparently has white sand and is rated one of the world's top five beaches. We're heading there now. Enough of this freezing cold Internet cafe/Chinese food restaurant.
I owe you a really detailed post about "The Day of Shauna" aka one of the best days of my life, the port day in Lombok. I need some time to write it properly, and I'll post it from our next port. Stay glued to your computer in the meantime.
Love,
S.
