Saturday we left Ahipara and headed for Trounson camp ground just outside Dargerville. My first night camping in New Zealand went ok, the campsite is really nice and has shower andcooking facilities. On Thursday the weather was not very good, it rained in the morning and was very windy in the afternoon. The Kuari tree musuem was good, I know as much as I ever want to know about the kuari tree now :-) From there we drove back accross to Paihia on the east coast for me to do my swim with dolphins again after the boat broke down last week. Left Paihai on Wednesday and headed further north will no definate location in mind. We stopped at Matauri Bay to see a propeller from the Rainbow Warrior which lies about 2km off the bay. We are currently Ahipara, just at the bottom of 90 mile beach. This will be our first night camping but the site does have shower and cooking facilities so hoping it will not be to bad, it couldn't be as bad as our camping experience in Moab, Utah.
