We left Roseville at about 9:00 AM and we got to Millbrae about noon. We are staying in the Best Western El Rancho Motel in Millbrae. It is an old motel (think 1950's) on the historic El Camino Real. For those who did not have California history in 4th grade, this is The Royal Road, more commonly called The King's Highway, which the Spanish took as they moved north from Mexico to subjugate, enslave, and save the souls of the California Indians.
The motel is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
If you stay one night, they will park your car for 14 days, give you free breakfast and a ride to the airport. The Princess shuttle will pick us up there and take us to the pier.
