After three changes of plan, we went back to our original plan and after I got the cancellation at work that I had requested, (Thanks, Caroline!) we set out for Reno. I am trying out a new phone app to create a new travel blog, to see if I like it better than others I have tried, and the one I like best, I will keep for cruises!

First stop was Colfax for coffee and a croissant for me, and an apple fritter for Patrick.

The road was clear and dry, but there is still snow on the hills! I tried to get some pictures of the beautiful Sierra scenery from the car.

We arrived in Reno before 11:30 and are now safely checked in at the El Dorado Hotel.
