Today I started with my next adventure and I'm realizing that preperation for the backpacking in some new country isn't an easy task. I started three months back, to prepare for this trip with searching for a good air-ticket deal. Deal that suites my dates, US holidays etc. One fine day I got what I wanted. And I finalized the dates adjacent to Memorial Day weekend and booked the tickets. And I was completely into it now. Started my research and pinned all the interesting places on the map and tried all possible ways to join the pins with a single line which i will follow as my explorer-route. This is most important phase of any trip planning because you just know when you are going and when you are coming back and you need to plan best to fit in most sites into your itinerary which are worth visiting in that region. Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Wikipedia all websites were up all the time on my workstation, Laptops, tablet, everywhere. In following two/three weeks I booked all the domestic flights and started my preperation for the Visa.Getting the Visa was the next important task. Fortunately Denver has the Consulate which made my task a little easy. I got all my paper work ready and visited the consulate, but I came to know that they need a (non-)criminal record from Police. I got the required documents from CBI and got my Visa stamped in next two weeks. I had enough time, so this delay did not impact my trip. The next important task was to get necessary immunization against the exotic deseases of this exotic place. it came out to be unimaginably expensive in the list of necessary things for this trip. But yes, it was necessary. After all this, i spent almost a month to finalize on other minor details, prioratize between the places to visit and some research on food, people and weather. And today, finally the day has come to get set for this Adventure Next...!!!
