Today we got up at 5 am and went on a boat trip down the lake to see the festival that only happens once a year. It was like carnival on a lake was fantastic to see but we surely was all shattered. Was lovely to see the sun set on the lake for sure. But the boat was so loud I felt sick. Today we arrived at a beautiful hotel in inle lake Burma. What a fab day we had riding push bikes up the mountain seeing the views on the way. Apart from the terrible weather it was fab experience :)

Today I fly to a more upper part of Burma but what an experience in the rural part. So before I leave I'm enjoying the lake and standing budda and the markets. Also having lunch saying bye to the locals at the only cafe in town so we surely are known...

Today we went trekking up the mountains and to the villages. What an experience to see the real rural side to Burma. I saw how people live learn and work and it was amazing to see how happy the children and everyone is with so little. Makes u realise how lucky you are. My legs surely are aching though After trekking had dinner at the only place in this town. It is so hard to get money out use Internet here power even cuts at 9. Surely has been an experience. V...

Here is where Burma begins I meet my group today and all18 of them are fab. I can't wait to explore Burma with them all. :) roll on the next two weeks the plan looks fantastic.
