Today went on a boat trip to 3 islands. We all got completely soaked even getting into the boat. The sea didn't look too rough out at sea but waves were crashing onto the beach so when we walked into the sea to get onto the rickety yellow boat a massive wave went over my (jessie) head and sonia ended up losing her sunglasses :( On our way to the first island it started raining but we didn't really care cos we were already drenched. Had an immense time last night :) went to a bar on the beach, met some really fun people, got quite a few free drinks and best of all listened 2 some DIRTY dubstep and DnB. was beautiful! and soo soo much fun :) Went to the khmer market this morning and bought a few presents. And then spent the rest of the day chilling on the beach and then back at our pool- so an extremely relaxing day.

So COMPLETE change of plan due to the passport situation. We have to wait in cambodia for a new passport to be processed which means we are going to have to miss out vietnam and laos :( However were are doing some serious chilling at the beach now and so are much happier- apart from mine and emmas horrific mosquito bites! Had a extremely blagging day today. Spent all day trying to sort out getting a new passport for me to replace my stolen one. First we went to the tourist police station and had to pay (*bribe) a police official to get a police report same day.Then spent ALL day at the british embassy trying to sort out my flippin passport. Anyway we have now sorted it but due to the restrictions of the emergency passport I've had to get a full passport which means we have to hang...

Arrived at phnom penh yesterday after a 6 hour bus ride. On the way I (Jessie) encouraged emma and sonia to eat some fried spider and crickets with me. Met some fellow travellers and played some pool and after a few cocktails got roped into some karaoke! Then in the evening managed to get my passport, cards n my money stolen! Very stressful and upsetting time!!! Today did some cultural stuff- visited the museum and killing fields of Choueng Ek. Extremely sad......
