Love getting your blogs so keep them coming. I know you're often writing them quickly and, it's a bit to late for spelling lessons but.......
Were - as in: We were cold. They were waiting for the bus. (not - We where cold. They where waiting for the bus.)
Their & There -
Their (belongs to) as in: It was their bag. We gave them their coats. They wanted their money. etc. etc.
There (place) as in: We want to go there. It was nice there. Can't wait 'til we get there.
There endeth the lesson.
Love you lot & lots.
Ps. Still not a lot going on here but it's our 28th anniversary this Saturday - now that's scary!

youve been subjected to the far eastern version of happy slapping
did she get it on a camera phone ??

I spent all day doing things like the washing and seeing to the dog and was bored. Your grandpa was up at Barts so I was on my ownio. I made phone calls, one to job your ma's memory - at her age she needs it! She has promised to get me some printer ink and she can get it cheaper than I can. No exciting views of anywhere for me. Pity poor Gran and take care, it's a harsh world out there!

2am, but can't get off before saying a quick 'hi'! It should be 'goodnight'.
Not homesick yet?
You've got another eleven months to do so you' better be enjoying it all.

Jenny you have the 'Bolwell itchy feet'. Your trip so far sounds most exciting and terribly uncomfortable. You know the men in the countries you are passing through are probably accustomed to being 'boss' - with their women anyway, so tread carefully.
The pic will be of a local woman, yes? I've saved it and will perhaps end up with my own little choice of pics to go in the Jen/Sean slideshow. Are you bringing any of that kind of music back with you?
Be good,
Gran

Hi Jen & Sean. I will have to look at some more of your pics. Your story of the bus journey reminded me of grandpas bus trip to China. He visited whichever town they were headed for, had some food then got the very last bus back to Hong Kong. It was late and if you were too late you could not cross the border, but had to overnight in China. Course the driver wanted to get home to the wife and kiddies so he put the foot down. Grandpa thought his last day had come. Rob was with him, but I wonder if your mum was along too. Probably not as she would have had to leave you with me and she would probably have worried in case I ate one of you.
Sorry about Sean's toe. Grandpa will feel for him when I tell him because he has a black toenail which will come off though it doesn't hurt now ofcourse.
We'd a lovely Chinese meal on Sun. last, for the birthday folk. The girls in the restaurant were very nice to us and insisted on treating all eight of us to an after dinner liquor. Kind.

Hey Jenny-wren & Sean
So good to get your latest blog - either it was a long time coming or you're loosing track of the date? (dated the 1st Feb but didn't reach your page 'til 12th Feb.)Anyway, hope poor Seans toe is ok - ouch!
As usual all sounds fabulously exciting and great fun - what an experience and you know when things don't turn out quite as expected, those times tend to make the best memories!
I see Gran's been very prolific on this message board - in essence she's right though i.e. not a lot happening here.
Oh well - take care my lovelies.
Mince & tatties and all that loving stuff.

Have just managed to take a look at some of your pics 'Hilltribe' I think, anyway lots of small dark men around, one heavily tatooed so now you know where I've been looking.
To think I've been imagining the two of you wandering all alone, hand in hand, like the babes in the wood, and I've been feeling sorry for you. Now I can see that where companions figure then you have the mostest. Now I can see you're really having a good time.
Right now I'm in the middle of cooking mince for dinner - a long time since we had that and we'll have mashed tatties plus the usual veggies. What will you two be eating I wonder - fried and spiced lizard legs. Why don't you send back a simply sort of receipe which we could try here.
Take care.

Your ma and Sheila came over today and we stayed home as I was all full of rheumatics and too sore to go gallivanting. I made soup for our lunch and it was really very good in spite of the fact that there was very little in it. We talked about everything you can think of except the fact that I want to buy a new sink and would like to ask Sheila to fit it for me. Maybe I'll do it on Sunday after they've all had a glass of rice wine. That will soften them up.
What kind of food are you two eating. Anything that would make Jamie Oliver open his eyes in surprise?
Had a look at your Bangkok Album. What a lot of gold! The pics are very good.

Are you both still flying high? Seeing all the new sights and sounds and using your camera. I've saved that wee pic of the pig. It's terribly late and your ma and Sheila are expected over for a visit tomorrow so will get off to bed now.
Take care both of you.

It has taken me half an hour to find this message board page. Couldn't you travel closer to home and then it might be quicker to find you - phone maybe.
Had a look at some of your pics, floating market, snake market etc. Very interesting. The tiger had no teeth, however, and the snake had his poison milked. I am sure of this. Otherwise you'd both be poisoned mince by now.
Today it is rainy old England. I've been having a wonderful time running in and out with the washing. Pity Poor Gran.
