Wow - crazy that we've been in Florida for 5 days and haven't had time to write! Spent the first day recovering on sleep and enjoying the fresh air and beach. Weather was cloudy and cool for the first couple of days which made the transition easier as when the sun is out, it's LOVELY! Well, we left YK at -30C for Edmonton where is was only -21C! Now it's raining and +2C with lots of slush - crazy Canadian weather! Looking forward to it getting warmer and warmer as we go. With the windchill at -43C and the fire and pellet stove roaring, the packing of summer clothes is moving in full throttle....only 4 more sleeps in YK! Gryphon (woof!) knows something is up as the 3 suitcases are laid out but he'll have a vacation of his own playing with our neighbour's dogs Tillie and Scooby.
