Connecting down to Phuket. Plane journey just over 1hour. Transfer to Dusit Thani, lovely resort. Spent some time booking elephant trekking, massages, golf and cookery classes. Italian dinner, early night.

Nearly died tonight !! Crazy tuktuk ride from Thanon Patpong night Market back to hotel. Gym am, skytrain to Siam paragon bought silk pillow cases and ties. Frozen yoghurt. Masses of iPhone accessories. Swim and sunbathe. Dinner at Thai restaurant across the water. Then TUKTUK!!!!

Gym first thing. Boat to skytrain then on skytrain to Siam shopping centre. Amazing place! Main meal in food court £1. Clothes expensive but electronics and DVD's good price. Bought Harry Potter and back to hotel in the rain to watch it. Watched wimbledon mens final.

Yoga and meditation class at 7.30am!! Fitting for suits for the boys. Boat to grand palace to see the green emerald buddha. Very hot and humid. Had to take shoes off to view Buddha in palace and cover arms and legs. Statue is very small at the top of a golden tower. Back to hotel by taxi which had a collision with a tuktuk! Our driver went ballistic!! Dinner overlooking the river. Dry all day , rained from 5.30.
