It was another very wet day. A short drive to the port and we boarded a ferry to takes us from Skybergert to Bognes at 9.50am. This time the coach drove onto the ferry and the driver came with us. After we disembarked the ferry we continued south to our lunch spot at Kontakt Kobbel v Vertshus which is a small cafe and motel above a hydro electricity plant. There was a lovely waterfall accessed by a pathway. You could also sit outside and enjoy the views of the fjord and listen to the sounds of the water over the falls. There was a large troll under the bridge pointing down to the waterfalls. From here we continued our journey and crossed the arctic circle for our third time this trip. This time it was a Polarsirkelsenteret. The visitors centre had a large souvenir shop and lots of stuffed animals, including moose, polar bears, reindeers, fox and not forgetting the large number of trolls in the centre. We had our photos taken here with Gary and Betty and also received another arctic circle crossing certificate. It was very wet and wild outside so we could not venture too far around the facility. Onwards to Mo and overnight at the Scandic Meyergarden. Once we checked in we met up with Gary and Betty and had pre dinner drinks and then put up our umbrellas and walked to a recommended restuarant, Gusto. The food and service were superb. Mick, the other tour guide from our group joined us as well. Best rack of lamb ever.
