20 - 25 March It was a four hour bus journey to Sihanoukville, a small beach side resort near Phnom Penh. 16 - 19 March The trip to the border on the slow boat was magical. Surrounded by jungel on either sideoccasionally passing through a village of smiling, waving people. 11 - 16 March Saigon was just a big, expensive city. Everything cost here from the beer to the food. We stayed in a small family run hotel and spent most of our days in the room watching TV to make up some of the money spent in Mui Ne. 8 - 11 March It was a short bus ride to Mui Ne, I had never stayed there before. The town was made up of one long street next to the sea front which was full of resorts and bungalows ranging from one to six stars.
