hey! So this should be my last nihgt here in Chiang Mai. The 14 hour train ride was... well interesting. Luckily i met a few cool people to make it go by a little faster. In the morning (we got here about 10:30 or so) you could see all the country side we were traveling through... it was really pretty. It is very "jungle-y" and then all of a sudden there would be a train station (this included a guy standing out front waving a green or red flag dependi...

Hi all! Looks like this will be my last night in Bangkok until i come back just to fly out to Australia. Seems i will be traveling to northern Thailand... make my way up to Chiang Mai and from there will head over to Vietnam and then followed by India. I think i will be in India for about 3 weeks until i come back to Thailand and stay in Phuket. From there (probably by bus) i will make my way back up the coast to Bangkok a couple days before my flight leaves ...

hey guys!! Yes, I made it here to Bangkok. So far just wandering the streets of Khao San. I'm ready to ditch all my clothes.... especially my 2 pairs of jeans i brought! It's not so much hot here as it is humid.... very tropical. I'm not gonna lie... it's pretty weird being the foreigner!! Looking in to going to a few places more south before heading over to India.... but who knows... that'll probably change. Well that's about all i have to report so far.....

so today officially starts the countdown. a week from today i will be on my way to thailand. after an 11 hour flight to tokyo, i have a 3 hour layover and then another 7 hour flight into bangkok. it's pretty safe to say, i'll have a little jet lag. i will try to keep this as updated as possible throughout my travels. you can trust there will be plenty of pictures. i hope to get the chance to email people individually, but that will depend on my whereabouts ...
