Yasukuni War Shrine
A tribute to Japan's war dead with a good chunk of the adjacent museum being devoted to WWII (or the 'Greater East Asian War' as it's known here apparently). It's fairly revisionist with such gems as the Rape of Nanking being "the Nanking incident" in which residents were "once again able to live in peace". And apparently Japan was forced to attack Pearl Harbor. But my favourite was its claim that Japan inspired colonies to rise up and the likes of India (and Ghandi), Indonesia, Burma, Vietnam, etc were all later to become independent thanks to them. Interesting, I thought Ghandi's movement pre-dated WWII by several decades but, there you go....
