Elle (Ok Its Lorraine Really, But Elle Sounds Nicer! ;-)
My sister in law (Jackie) gave me your website link and asked me to look it over and leave a comment.
Well...when I got here and saw all that text to read, it was a bit daunting for me, BUT:-
What a great read it was! And lots of interesting pictures to see!
A few things stick in my mind:-
Teeth worse than Ken Dodd's!! LOL very good! (bit like this little icon!)
Needing 'lolly pop men' at least!
People wanting their pictures taken with Sarah - Now I did a search for Sarah but couldn't find out who she was - so I suggest a little 'Cast List', with their mug-shot next to their names. (well I am thick, I need pictures with name-tags! )
...Ran off and had quick 'mess with his pidge' LOLLLLL what a very funny image that conjured up! (by the way, what does Sarah have that makes men want to do that???...I want to know so I can copy her! )
Oh and one last thing...yes this blog is that good that people all over the world are reading it - me being one from the 'Land Down Under' bit.

Just re-read my last message I must stress I am NOT jealous of situation with the little man, I should have written that I am very jealous at the end of my message. That'll teach me to read what I have written before I post.

Absolutely wonderful, I've been away and have just caught up with your blog, it took me ages to read, but it was so exciting and interesting I just kept readin and the photos are brilliant too.
It sounds like you are having a brilliant, scary, fantastic time. The killing fields was very sad, I had a little weep. The night bus was very funny, I think maybe the little man must have thought all his birthdays had arrived at once with 4 stunning young farangs in his bed. I can only say I am really jealous of you all. The trees growing through the temple looked really impressive, and so weird too.
Looking forward to the next blog, Dave worked in Nakorn Saworn, about half way to Chiang Mai, if you get to stop there will you take a couple of pics for him please?
Enjoy the rest of your far east trip.
Take care and have fun,
Jackie and Dave xxxx

Chiang Mai Unofficial Tour Guide
I first heard these lovely girls behind me on a Vietnam sleeper bus. Did they disturb me? Did they offend me? Hmmm, almost...only joking...no way..i thought to myself 4 great, down to earth northern lasses, having the time of their lives. Throughout Vietnam we shared buses and finally the Ha Long bay boat tour, where we celebrated Sarah's birthday, drinking horrible VN wine! How could i repay them? Well i showed them my home city, the lovely Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. Oh what fun we had..keep in touch girls. X
