Mooloolaba 2975 KM17September 2011 Mooloolaba only became a stop when we were offered a free paddle board lesson - bit of a giggle we though.Oh my life, how we underestimated it! We threw on our swimmers and some light clothes over the top to ensure no burning would occur and we followed a man around to the back shed to collect our paddle boards.Very very similar to surfboard... if not identical... Noosa Head 2925 KM17 September 2011 We had to get a move on.Sam and I had worked out our schedule and time was against us.We set off to Nossa Heads fairly early the next morning.... the night previous we got a little lary with the Fraser gang at the hostel!Noosa was a fly-by visit, a very spread out place so we weren't entirely sure we had found the centre for a bit!We indulged in some Carrot cake , sausage rolls and coffee before getting on the road.... we nee...

Fraser Island 14 - 16 September 2011 One of the absolute highlights of the trip for Sam and I.Fraser Island was 3 full days of razzing jeeps up the beach, visiting beautiful lakes, getting far too drunk, constant action packed excitement.We were so lucky with our group, all 20 of us seemed to just fit together and had the time of our lives.... Rainbow Beach 2776 KM13 September 2011 Rainbow beach was our kick off point to Fraser Island.We enjoyed the on-beach BBQs here and cooked ourselves and absolute feast before setting off to Fraser.In all there wasn't a lot at Rainbow beach but it certainly had an appeal, with the very local nature and nice shops. Mackay 1769 KM11 September 2011 A small town with many closed shops (its Sunday again) didn't particlarly capture our spirtis.We enjoyed lunch on the windswept, long grass next to the beach with about 20 seaguls for company.A short explore around the harbour and town we were back on the road.We have approximately 12 hours of driving down to Rainbow Beach so we can get across to Fraser Island.Any amount of time we could get in this evening would help as we have ...
