We Leave in 3 days, and though we have been planning this trip for about 4 weeks( down the the tiniest detail )... I am beginning to get a stress headache at the thought of packing!
The lists started from the moment we decided to go! Before long we had spent a small fortune at Blacks, Amazon did a roaring trade, and I am pretty sure Supersrug and Boots stock value went up several points.
Not forgetting to mention the oh so necessary holiday preparation ... mani/pedi, haircuts, waxing ( eyebrows) failed pre holiday detox, de- lousing ( bloody nits in 8 yr olds)
Today I started to turn those lists into itinerary printouts , copies of passports, prescriptions filled, currency ordered and piles ..piles .. piles of clothes, . I am grateful that Charlie insists on packing for herself ( though she may get a shock how little you can fit into a 55 ltr rucksack !)
As for the other piles I'll let the pictures speak for themselves ...
Then there is the 4 basket loads of clean laundry waiting and in the process of being ironed...
But as I type I am feeling pretty organised, my travel itinerary spreadsheet is a highlight ( and a very proud moment for me, as those who know me well, organisation is not my forte!)
Now back to daily life and a household to feed and a chilled glass of rose to enjoy as I am done for today !
