Hi Sarah and Ryan,
Sarah, I used to work with your dad if you don't remember me.
Your trip brings back so many memories of when Greg and I went back in 1996/1997. I'm sure things have changed a lot, but when you do the trip to Halong Bay (Lovely, by the way) if you are taking a bus take earplugs...it was about a 60km trip and took roughly 6 hours! The driver honked his horn every 5 seconds to get the water buffalos, cyclists, ox, walkers and pretty much anything in his path out of the way....Lots of excitement headed your way...ENJOY!
