Well, 14 days and still no sighting of any crocodiles or snakes in the wild, although I did have a close encounter with a couple of scary looking spiders... eek! We decided to 'rough it' one night and camp in a National Park. Facilities here include an open cold shower, complete with water straight from the river, compost toilets (YUK!) and gas BBQs, random I know! But they even have BBQ's set out here on every beach for families to use and 'put another shrim...

We are in Crazy Cairns!! We love it so much we've booked an extra night here! We had a fab day today after booking the tour only yesterday! We travelled up to Kuranda village by skyrail over the immense rainforest with great views of the bay.
