So here we are in Mt. Pleasant, IA. We drove 456 miles, averaged 60.5 mph and 22.7 mpg. The milage was low because of the wind and trying to keep our speed up to get here asap. We drove in rain all day, but it was just light drizzle when we checked in to our Super 8 motel.(obviously with Wi-Fi internet access) and we had supper at the Sirloin Stockade next door. Jan made me eat to much at the All-You-Can Eat Sirloin Buffet. The weather forcast looks like more rain tomorrow.

you are so tan in that one picture that it is disgusting!!!! I think you need to start staying out of the sun and wearing long sleeves so you don't get so dark - cuz its just not fair to the rest of us!!!!!!! smiles :)

That's nice you thought of Grandma. We will be celebrating her 1 year Anniversary into Heaven. I've been having such wonderful dreams about her these last few weeks. And they were dreams of how she used to be (Before Alzheimers). Remember when she was happy singing and playing Piano and playing cards and she loved all her Grandchildren soooooooooo much.

I can't wait to talk to your Mom and Dad about their trip. I bet they had a really good time.

Hi sara, I just looked at all your pictures and what a adventure you are having. Beth just would like to come ot see you but she has to many classes to take and no money. But to see your pictures is great. Diane and Ed will be glad to see you and the beautiful country you are in.. the 4-H is gettting ready for share the fun. Hi sara, I finally got a chance to read all your journal entries! I thought you went there to go to school and learn something!! Well, I guess you are learning to meet new people and expand your horizons, which is educational also. Sounds like you are having alot of fun. How go the parties (I mean School)? Looks like you are having a good time and are assimilating well. We just sent some pictures of the kids for you to hang in your room. Philip is excited and ready to come down under. He leaves here June 19 and returns July 7. He will be in Brisbane at some point, but we do not know when yet. Will let you know as soon as we can.
